Meet Dr. Chad Robertson

Dr. Chad W. Robertson has been a chiropractic physician and certified athletic trainer at Estramonte Chiropractic and Wellness since January of 2006.  Dr. Chad is also the official team chiropractor for the Charlotte Checkers of the professional East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).

Dr. Chad is originally from Greenwich, New York, a small town located near Saratoga Springs in upstate New York approximately two hours north of New York City.  Following high school, Dr. Chad attended Castleton State College in Vermont where he studied sports medicine.  While there, Dr. Chad was a member of the varsity baseball team and the sports medicine staff that provided first aid and injury rehabilitaion for the school's athletic teams.  A baseball injury that doctors informed him would require surgery was what first introduced Dr. Chad to the chiropractic profession.  Following a series of chiropractic treatments along with guided rehabilitation, Dr. Chad was able to throw a baseball without pain and determined chiropractic was a credible and proven treatment opition for muscle and joint injuries.

After graduating Castleton State with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training in 2001, Dr. Chad became a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) in 2002.  At that time, Dr. Chad decided to combine his background in sports medicine with chiropractic.  By joining these two disciplines, he has provided his patients with a variety of options when faced with a muscle and joint or sports related injury.  In 2002, Dr. Chad enrolled at New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York, and later graduated cum laude with a degree of Doctor of Chiropractic.

Since joining the staff at Estramonte Chiropractic, Dr. Chad has been able to utilize his various soft tissue techniques, stretching and conditioning knowledge and sports injury background to help those patients who have suffered exercise related impairments recuperate quicker.  In addition, Dr. Chad has attended various seminars, some of which have improved his ability to treat conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches, TMJ pain, plantarfasciitis, lifting injuries, whiplash and auto accident injuries, shoulder and rotator cuff injuries along with overuseor chronic repetitive injuries associated with exercise or work related injuries.

In his free time, Dr. Chad enjoys exercising and attending any local sporting event.  Dr. Chad is a big baseball, hockey, basketball and football fan.  His true passion is golf as he tries to play at least once each week at various courses throughout the area.  During the winter months, Dr. Chad is a high school basketball official. Although he is releatively new to the Charlotte area, he is very excited to be able to provide a benefit to the members of his local community.
